I am writing this review to clear things up about this system. This is my opinion on what i experienced,Judging by other reviews that stated it was hard for them to connect to satellite system, not true for me it connected within seconds after turning it on, I have a 3 collar system that I just purchased last of january, they stated loosing signal at 1.77 miles, not true for me. I was in a heavy wooded area and one of my dogs hit a deer track and ran over 3 1/2 miles. I was still in contact with him with this system till he hit the 4 mile mark that is when I lost contact. Other people stated that it will not connect. Not true, it connected when I got back in range and took me right to where he was. I am here to clarify all of that not to say the system does not have some flaws but I have not seen it. The system deserves more stars than what people been giving it. It is a awesome system and I have the mini 4 mile collar system.

Dogtra Pathfinder Mini has taken our training and hunting to a whole different level. One might say, what’s the need if you are using them on rabbit beagles, and I would argue that till I was blue in the face. This makes the hunt so much safer, enjoyable, and relaxing just knowing where your dogs are. Landowners love the fact that we use them as well. The Pathfinder track and train makes it so streamline by sending the information back to your smart phone which allows you to lighten the amount of gear you are carrying on the hunt or during the training session. Besides, who doesn’t already have their phone on them these days. Might as well use it for the hunt and not carry around another unit. Highly recommend based on what it brings to the table, and it’s way more affordable than other comparable track and train units. Buckner Creek Kennels
