Q: Is this a good remote collar for stubborn dogs?
A: First to identify what a stubborn dog is we must address two questions:

Does your dog have prior E-Collar experience?
What type of issues are you experiencing to label the dog as stubborn?

If your dog has not responded to another e-collar the Dogtra 200C provides low to medium output at 0-100 levels of stimulation. It also features a High Performance Pager Vibration, which is a stronger vibration than your cell phone vibration for example. Be sure to ensure you properly place the e-collar on your dog by reviewing the steps here.

The second question to address when working with a stubborn dog is to understand if the dog is "not listening" to you vs. "not understanding" what you are asking him.
