The durable 1900S e-collar features a 3/4-mile range and is fully waterproof. The receiver has a unique modern design that lets the collar strap wrap around the receiver and your dog’s neck for enhanced comfort and seamless appearance. The Dogtra 1900S receiver outputs low-high stimulation from 0-127 levels, a wide range of stimulation that will fit any dog’s personality from mild to most stubborn. Using a patented Rheostat Dial, the gradual and precise stimulation control is displayed on the illuminated LCD screen on the handheld transmitter. The 1900S is also available in the 2-dog system, the 1902S.

Q: Is this the best shock collar for large stubborn dogs?
A:The Dogtra 1900S is a remote training collar designed for dogs 35 pounds and larger. It is a e-collar that features low to high output and can work for mild mannered and stubborn dogs. The stimulation levels range from 0-127.

Q: Is this shock collar waterproof?
A: Yes, the Dogtra 1900S is waterproof e collar. It has a waterproof rating of IPX9K for both the remote and the collar.

Q: Does this shock collar come with a remote?
A: The 1900S is a remote training collar featuring a 3/4 mile range remote transmitter.

Q:Is this a good e collar for dogs with long fur?
A:This ecollar features our standard 5/8ths medical grade stainless steel contact points and can accomodate most dog coats. We do also offer longer contacts for dogs with longer fur such as the: 3/4 inch , 1 inch and titanium enhanced contacts .

Q: What's the difference between the Dogtra 1900S and ARC?
A: The main difference will be in the size of the collars. Both feature the ergonomic curve shape but you will find the ARC to feature a slimmer e collar profile. Because of the size of the collars the 1900S features our high performance pager vibration whereas the ARC will feature a standard pager vibration. The ARC can accomodate dogs as small as 15 pounds and the 1900S will accomodate dogs 35 pounds and above.

Q:Does this ecollar come with the finger remote?
A: This is the standard 1900S version and does not come with the finger remote. The 1900S HANDSFREE PLUS version features a finger remote.

IPX9K Waterproof Rating:
This unit has been tested and has received a waterproof rating of IPX9K. The Ingress Protection (IP) rating classifies the level of protection provided by the exterior casing and electrical enclosures against a variety of elements. Dogtra's IPX9K rating has been specifically tested for waterproof protection. This unit was tested at close range using powerful water jets with high pressure and high temperature over various points.
