"This e color is pretty simple to set up. I used one before for my dog's first two years of his life and took a short break, but quickly realized he still needed training so I ordered this one. It's been about two weeks, and I have never seen better results from him and his behavior. As with any type of training, there is a method to the madness. Set a goal, be consistent and you will see results."
"I like this product bc it is way less than Garmin and since I am only using it for one dog at a time I do not see any need for spending that much money. I have a deer tracking dog so the colar doesn't get used as much as a coon dog or deer dog. Plus the offline feature is amazing. There is nothing that a Garmin can do that this colar cannot do. "I will be returning it, but have a lot to handle currently so haven't had the chance. I phoned DOGTRA immediately when I received it, as I was so very disappointed by how heavy it is. I have a DOGTRA trainer that I've used for over a dozen years, & I love the freedom it gives my 50lb Afghan Hound. The Afghan Hound is an elegant athlete. She doesn't need a heavy weight on that fragile long neck. But this new one is much larger with a heavy strap (strap weight not noted in online specs!). ALSO the way it's pictured doesn't emphasize that loooong antennae! I thought that I saw a spec that it's suitable for even 15lb dogs?! NO way! I will look for some add-on device for tracking and continue to use my current DogTra."
